All Business is a fuzz that means business.
Hope you're ready for the annual networking conference. Set to rage, yet somehow stay lost in the mix. You're middle management - you're powerless - so of course we scooped the mids. Gated by the gatekeeper to your career, your note decay is abrupt but it stays noisy. All Business means business and is a loud, MOSFET based fuzz with only one control. Why do you need anything else?
Variants:
Large PCB and Instructions: This version is sized like a business card. It's a bit obnoxious and will need a larger (Hammond 1590BB) enclosure. This is where we started.
Small PCB and Instructions: This version is small and cramped, like my office. It will need more finesse and will fit in a smaller (Hammond 1590B) enclosure - horizontally, like I build all my pedals.
Pre-built: I build it for you with the small PCB and standard 1kHz scoop.
Instructions are linked over on the Instructions page. Inside there are three options for the tone stack; 1kHz scoop (standard, muff-y), 700Hz scoop, no scoop. The schematic is also in there, so if you want to start tweaking things, adding controls, whatever, you can.
Control:
Loud: This makes it go loud.
Powered by standard - BOSS style - 9VDC center negative supply (if you buy one, if you build it, this is probably what you should do too).
Background:
I thought I should have PCB business cards, so I made one. Simple circuit based on the Mk. II Tonebender. Replaced everything with MOSFETs because I like them and I like input impedance where I can get it. Tweaked the gain so that the sound is pretty synth-y. Added a simple bridged-T notch filter and a final gain stage for loudness. This skirts the clone line and makes me uncomfortable, but it's just business, baby.
